Cool Treat Smiles!

Welcome to Monday everyone! It is time for a new challenge at Fantabulous Cricut! This week we are all about those wonderful Cool Treats we all love to eat in the heat (okay I admit the temp does not matter when eating yummy treats!)

This week we have an exciting sponsor for the challenge: CRI-Kits! CRI-kits is a magnetic gel pen or embossing holder that fits into your Cricut (they have holders for other machines as well) and their magnetic gel pens fit right in.  They were nice enough to send out a kit to some of the DT members to work with.

I was sent the Metallic set. It comes with a holder and 10 different colors of ink. I read the directions quickly (super easy to follow) and selected my design to draw. This little guy if from the Cricut Decals cartridge.

On the Cricut: Pressure: 3, Speed: 2
It recommended multi-cut so I did that as well.

After I had drawn my little guy I replaced the pen holder with my blade and cut out the base shape around him. I think he looks pretty cute!

I cut a card base with the Creative Cards cartridge and added a bunch of fun washi tape to it. My final touches were some star brads and a stamp form Pink By Design.
