Special Delivery with Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy Tuesday to all.  We are all about Baby Love this week at Die Cuttin' Divas. Recently we had a baby shower for one of my co-workers who is expecting and I created this bag for her.
Once I took a look at her registry I was able to piece together the colors and element of the new babies room to be. The colors of the room are while, grey, pink and green with a large chevron base on the blankets and sheets.
This project life card cut made the perfect backing once I made it bigger for the bag. I added the pink and green in my title and this cute little baby face was the finishing touch.

The mommy-to-be has already torn the bag apart and framed it to add to the room...what a special honor and so glad I was able to create that joy for her.

I hope you will join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas for our BabyLove (create a project with a baby theme).  We give out a prize to a random winner every other week.

Friendly Flowers with Die Cuttin' Divas

Tomorrow is Water a Flower Day (what fun). To celebrate Die Cuttin' Divas are creating projects with flowers on them.
I started out with some inspiration from a set of Project Life cards. I love these cards from the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things collection and knew just what I wanted to make with them.
I got my card base ready and went searching for the right cut - making sure I had a flower on my project (ever if it is a small one.)
A little touch of sparkle and a simple white bow and my card was all set to send to a dear friend. I hope you will get a chance to join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas - our challenge - use a flower on your project!!

Supplies:
- Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge - friends
- Project Life Favorite Things Edition by Heidi Swapp
- Project Life Blush Edition - solid cards
- Stickles in Lime Green

Happy Tuesday....OOPS

It has been such a busy few weeks that I totally forgot to post my project for Die Cuttin' Divas this week. This week were are asking for your sports related projects in honor of golf month.

I decided to play with the print and cut feature on my Cricut this week and made this cute little guy golfer. I know a cute soon to be 4-year-old who is having a mini golf party with friends and family and thought this would be perfect.
I really like that you can use the characters from this cart, flatten them and use the print and cut feature with them.  They look so cute.  I left this guy as is for the cutting but love that if I want I could change his hair color before printing.

Sorry for the late week post.  See you Tuesday and then soon all the time for my summer crafting time will kick in so very soon.

Supplies:
- Create A Friend Cricut Cartridge - golfer and flag
- Pinstripe embossing folder
- Acknowledgement font for 4

Sketch Tuesday with Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy Tuesday everyone.  The May flowers are blooming and it is time for our monthly sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.
I had just created my card for last week's challenge and looked over and saw the reverse cut sitting out and knew it would be just right for this week's sketch.  Just a quick turn on it's side and it would be perfect.
I went searching for the right papers to work behind my image and the flowers on this piece popped right out at me.
Once I had the papers and cut I had to find the right sentiment to work with and I think I found a good one. The card went together smoothly and quickly - funny I did not have to turn on my machine to cut as it was already set to go.

Have a great week. I hope you will get a chance to join us at Die Cuttin' Divas for our sketch challenge.
